We carefully select fresh ingredients from small local producers for a light, contemporary take on Mediterranean cuisine, delighting both the eyes and the palate.
Our dishes are created by chef Alessandro Pascali who, after gaining international acclaim when working with Michelin-starred names such as Alain Ducasse, Carlo Cracco and Stefano Baiocco, has returned to his native Salento with a broader mindset and that unique blend of personality, precision, flair and creativity that makes each of his dishes a journey of its own.
Featuring two cosy rooms where the warm, local stone perfectly complements the lamps, mirrors and designer furnishings, Zephyr can cater for up to 20 guests. Its soft colour palette is punctuated by the elegant green of the Kentia palms that separate the round and square tables and the beige, yellow and dove-grey armchairs. In the bar, which has French doors and high ceilings, the brightly lit counter stands out against the creamy stone arches.
In the center of the first room, the marble sculpture ‘La Liberté’ by Jacques Zwobada stands testament to the romantic life story of Antonia Fiermonte, the grandmother of founders Fouad-Giacomo and Antonia Yasmina-Filali, who died prematurely at the age 42.
The Zéphyr Restaurant wine list includes local labels and a selection of wines from various Italian regions, as well as French champagnes.
