The National Families at the Museum Day, Fiermonte Museum | Lecce

On Sunday, October 13, the Fiermonte Museum in Lecce welcomes families for a unique experience as part of the National Families at the Museum Day (F@Mu) 2024, dedicated to the theme "A Green Museum." This is a special opportunity to reflect on environmental sustainability through art, in a place that combines beauty and innovation.

Located in the heart of Lecce's Baroque architecture, the Fiermonte Museum is not just a museum, but an emotional journey that blends art and technology. Dedicated to Antonia Fiermonte, a painter and violinist from the 1930s, this space celebrates her legacy through watercolors, sculptures, and immersive installations.

Throughout the day, from 2 PM to 7 PM, families will take center stage: children will have the chance to create artworks inspired by the museum's collection, under the guidance of Marta, Valerio, and Emma, a young designer. It promises to be an unforgettable experience that will touch the hearts of both young and old, making art accessible and engaging for everyone. The creations will be shared on social media with the hashtag #JeSuisFIER.
